Aims and Objectives
Our Communities is a registered public trust. With the motto of community and social development education, research and practice, Our Communities plans to pursue the following objectives:
• To create platforms to discover, discuss and disseminate innovative ideas and actions/practices to address multiple dimensions of poverty.
• To initiate capacity building to support individuals, groups and organisations.
• To raise awareness and practices of sustainable production and consumption.
• To establish awards and scholarships to recognise and encourage efforts of individuals, teams, and organisations
• To contribute to policy making processes at all levels
